HACU and Café Bustelo® announce 25 El Café del Futuro Scholarship Recipients

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and Café Bustelo® are proud to announce the 25 recipients of the Café Bustelo® El Café del Futuro Scholarship for the 2026-27 academic year. Each student, representing a HACU-member institution, will receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their continued education.

Café Bustelo® is passionate about investing in the communities it has long been proud to serve. Through the El Café del Futuro Scholarship Program, the brand celebrates students who draw strength and inspiration from their culture, families, and communities as they pursue their educational and professional goals. By helping remove financial barriers to higher education, Café Bustelo® is honored to support the next generation of leaders and changemakers who will continue uplifting their communities and professions.

Since the scholarship program began in 2014, Café Bustelo® has awarded $1,050,000 in scholarships to 210 students nationwide, reflecting the brand's continued commitment to investing in students and celebrating the vibrant communities that have helped shape Café Bustelo® for generations.

As part of the application, students shared how they celebrate their culture with their families, friends, and communities; how those experiences influenced their desire to earn a college degree; and how they plan to use their education to support and uplift their communities or professions.
