I joined Sharon AI as Chief Operating Officer a few months ago, and I'm excited to be here at a time of growth where we are successfully delivering for our customers. I'm a big believer in celebrating regular milestones of achievement and wanted to share Sharon AI's progress so far in 2026.
A global challenge in delivering AI infrastructure is connecting AI compute to power. Sharon AI has a unique approach to mitigate this, and that model is paying off in our ability to deliver AI compute quickly and at scale.
To set the scene, in January 2026, Sharon AI had 54 MW of available data centre capacity. As of October 2026, we have 120 MW of contracted customer agreements for our data centre capacity, with 212 MW of total available capacity with power to site established. This pace is set by the global demand for access to AI compute, and our business model is designed to bring that capacity online without waiting on new energy infrastructure.
Sharon AI operates a partner-first, co-location business model. We build both in established data centres that are already connected to the grid, which has the advantage of immediately available power; and the new builds and extensions we have committed to are all energised to the site. Being partner-agnostic means we are able to work with leading data centres that operate to high standards - Tier III and IV facilities, which provide Sharon AI the benefit of the partners' experience and scale.
Access to energy is often the main hurdle to scaling AI infrastructure. Because our sites are in established data centres connected to the grid or builds that have the power established to the site, we avoid the longest lead items, such as substations and transmission lines. The remaining timing risk is in energising individual data halls, which our co-location partners deliver. We manage that by working with a portfolio of partners across multiple sites, so no single energisation date determines our overall capacity.
Not being a builder, developer and operator also allows us to focus on providing AI factories that are designed to the workload and maximise the output our customers need.
We now have a presence in 12 sites across Australia and New Zealand (11 in Australia), and each one has existing power connected or available to the site:
This approach lets us deploy capacity for customers sooner than a new build without connection would allow. In turn, our co-location partners gain a tenant that scales within the facilities they have built.
Sharon AI is committed to execution and delivery for our customers, and we look forward to providing further updates as we continue to scale.
