Scituate Barracks

On Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 5:30 PM, Troopers arrested Ryan Charon, age 28, of 682 Old Baptist Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the State Police Scituate Barracks for Obtaining Property by False Pretenses. This arrest was a result of an investigation conducted by the Scituate Barracks, and Troopers responding to the North Kingstown Police Department to take custody of Charon. Charon was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by Justice of Peace and released with a future Third District Court arraignment date.

On Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 11:30 PM, Troopers arrested Jayzon Snead, age 19, of 66 Huber Ave, Apartment #3, Providence, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1) Larceny - Between $1500 and $5000 - Felony, 2) Larceny - Less than $1500, 3) Larceny - Less than $1500, 4) Larceny - Less than $1500, and 5) Larceny - Less than $1500 originating out of Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Valley Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police Headquarters for processing and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

On Monday, January 6, 2025 at 12:04 AM, Troopers arrested Jose Canario, age 34, of 171 Robinson Street, Apartment #3, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor - BAC Unknown - First Offense, and 2) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test - First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
