Infant Formula Recall Notice

The CDC, FDA and public health officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of infant botulism linked to recalled Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula.

Parents and caregivers should not use the recalled formula. According to the CDC, infant botulism is rare but serious and may include symptoms such as poor feeding, trouble sucking or swallowing, weak or altered cry, constipation, loss of head control, loss of muscle tone or decreased facial expression.

The CDC recommends seeking immediate medical care if an infant consumed the recalled formula and develops symptoms. Symptoms may take several weeks to appear, so parents and caregivers should continue watching for symptoms for one month after the infant last consumed the product.

In coordination with DSHS, the Pasadena Health Department conducted a local assessment on June 18, 2026, to ensure the Pasadena Target store was aware of the recall and that implicated products had been removed from sale.
