Pedal Forward Eastside offers rebates on new e-bikes

Published June 15 2026

Up to $2,000 off purchases through June 29

Residents of Bellevue, Redmond and Issaquah searching for a sustainable method of transportation can apply to the Pedal Forward Eastside program, which offers up to $2,000 off the purchase of a new electric bicycle at participating retailers.

Through June 29, applicants who are at least 16 years old and live in one of the three participating Eastside cities can apply for a $2,000 or $500 rebate, based on household income. Households earning up to 80% of the area median income qualify for a $2,000 rebate, while households earning more are eligible for a $500 rebate. Each household is limited to one rebate.

Recipients will be selected at random and can use their rebate for the purchase of a new e-bike from participating retailers. Any remaining funds can be used to purchase safety equipment, such as helmets, locks and lights.

E-bikes encourage riders to be physically active. Using a small electric motor to assist with pedaling, they have opened biking opportunities to a wide range of riders. Ideal for short and medium (5 to 15 miles) trips, e-bikes provide a climate-friendly alternative to driving that doesn't require significant strength and endurance.

For those looking to travel a bit farther, e-bikes can also provide a convenient connection to Eastside transit options - including buses and light rail to Seattle and beyond.
