Edwin Lai | Senior Fullstack Engineer | London

Before Capsa, Edwin worked as a Software Engineer at Rubrik and as a Senior Software Engineer at Labelbox.

"I joined Capsa because I have deep experience building web applications that serve AI related use cases and I wanted to get more exposure to the private capital vertical. Private capital has been one of the most successful fields in the past decades, so delivering AI to investment professionals in a magical and unobtrusive way has the opportunity to bring astronomical returns. There is very much an opportunity to build a rocket ship at the intersection of these two fields."

What's a workflow you'll never do manually again?

Creating simple apps for proof of concept use cases, as Capsa can generate HTML apps.

What's the best thing a client has taught you?

Some of the data platforms they work with are quite interesting technically, so there is plenty of opportunity to add value there.

What's something people would be surprised to learn about working at Capsa?

We are a pet friendly office and all love our furry friends!
