Updated on 10/19/2026 10:19 AM
The City presents In Their Image, a dynamic exhibition at the Arts Barn that explores the many dimensions of portraiture. The exhibit runs from October 12, 2026, through January 25, 2027.
A free artists reception will be held on October 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend and meet the featured artists.
In Their Image is a 2D and 3D exhibition that delves into how artists capture the essence of their subjects. While some works focus on physical likeness, others explore emotional, cultural, and psychological elements that shape identity. The show features artwork from 15 artists working in photography, pencil, acrylic, watercolor, oil, batik, mixed media, gouache, and terracotta sculpture.
Featured artists include Anne Barrington, Pearl Chang, Walter Kirkland, Sandy Yagel, Sarabeth Smetzer, Lis Zadravec, Jinnie DeTrani, Yelena Skripchenko, Aaron Davis, Diana Roman, Andrey Skripchenko, Regina Gardner-Johnson, Kien Lee, Fariba Niazi, and Hai Duong.
All images and artworks are copyrighted by the artists.
