Friday Night, Saturday Lane Closures on SR 138/Jonesboro Rd in Union City, Fairburn for Resurfacing
ATLANTA METRO - Georgia DOT contractors will install lane closures on SR 138//Dave Ingram Parkway/Jonesboro Road this weekend to continue a resurfacing project from SR 14/Roosevelt Highway to Buffington Road in Fulton County. Resurfacing improves the roadway's deteriorating condition.
Weather and on-site conditions permitting, crews will close one left lane on Dave Ingram Parkway/Jonesboro Road between SR 14/Roosevelt Highway and the I-85 interchange from 9 p.m. on Friday, October 30 until 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.

Lane closures are installed to help ensure safety for drivers and work crews during milling, inlay and resurfacing operations. This project is scheduled for completion in spring 2027.
Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
