Mitie has been named a supplier Crown Commercial Service's (CCS) Management Consultancy Framework Four and is a listed supplier on Lot 9 for Environment and sustainability. The agreement is in place for two years.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2023/24, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £4.9 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
As part of the framework agreement, Mitie will be able to bid for contracts which support progress towards net zero for the public sector including Central and Local Government and across healthcare, education, and defence. Mitie will draw on the decarbonisation expertise of its Projects business, which provides end-to-end project delivery, from consulting to design and build, supporting the transformation of customers' facilities.
Mitie's consulting capability includes the development of net zero pathways, carbon accounting and reporting, impact assessments, waste and natural resource management and regulatory compliance guidance and implementation. The team combines expertise with intelligence-led insights and access to advanced AI-enabled technology, such as Mitie's Emissions Intelligence platform, for carbon reporting.
