December 18, 2025- North Wales, PA
Pennsylvania Department of Aging Secretary Jason Kavulich will host a community conversation in North Wales to underscore the Department's major wins in Governor Josh Shapiro's 2025-26 budget and highlight how a more than $10 million investment for the aging network will address critical needs for the Commonwealth's diverse older adult population, helping them to stay safe, healthy and engaged in their communities.
Governor Shapiro's budget also invests another $3 million for Aging Our Way, PA - Pennsylvania's 10-year strategic, multi-sector plan to meet the needs and preferences of older adults - to continue building community supports so we can all keep thriving as we age.
Many underserved populations, including older Asian Americans, will benefit from these investments in aging programs like older adult protective services, senior community centers, reimbursements for grandparents raising grandchildren and other caregivers.
