Throughout this Congress, Chair Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa's 99 counties.

RED OAK, Iowa - U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Chair of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: The Coffee Grounds of Monroe County. Throughout the 119th Congress, Chair Ernst plans to recognize a small business in each of Iowa's 99 counties.

"The Boleys and Aeschlimans have brewed up a welcoming space for their neighbors and offered quality coffee and baked goods for folks to grab on the way to work," said Chair Ernst. "By listening to Iowans' request for a convenient, on-the-go cup of coffee, they've poured their energy into Main Street, leaving a lasting mark on the community."

Founded in October 2023, The Coffee Grounds is a family and veteran-owned coffee shop that serves as a drive-through and walk-in destination for Monroe County. The business proudly sources its coffee beans and baked goods from local Iowa producers, offering a variety of beverages and treats. In just a short time, The Coffee Grounds has become a beloved part of Albia's Main Street and a daily stop for many in the area.

Stay tuned as Chair Ernst continues to recognize outstanding Iowa small businesses with her Small Business of the Week award.
