Chinese Ambassador to Sweden Zhou Limin Visits KTH Royal Institute of Technology

On May 12, 2026, Ambassador Zhou Limin visited KTH Royal Institute of Technology and exchanged views with President Anders Söderholm, Vice President Stefan Östlund, and others on strengthening China-Sweden cooperation in engineering education and scientific research, as well as promoting personnel exchanges.

Ambassador Zhou commended KTH for its positive attitude toward cooperation with China and the fruitful achievements in this regard. He noted that both China and Sweden are innovation-oriented countries that attach great importance to STEM education and the training of engineers. China's 15th Five-Year Plan emphasizes the development of outstanding engineers, creating significant potential for bilateral cooperation in relevant fields. He expressed the hope that KTH will continue to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with Chinese universities, and welcomed more faculty members and students to visit China and gain first-hand experience of the achievements of Chinese modernization.

President Söderholm and others stated that KTH highly values the strong partnerships it has established with Chinese universities, remains optimistic about China's development, and hopes to further deepen cooperation with China in areas such as talent cultivation and scientific and technological innovation.
