ATLANTA - State Representative Soo Hong (R-Lawrenceville), vice chair of the House Majority Caucus, was recently nominated by House leadership to participate in GOPAC's 2026 Class of Emerging Leaders. Rep. Hong was selected to be part of a class of 38 legislators from across the country who were nominated by legislative leadership in their state and have demonstrated promise in positively impacting their state.
"I am grateful to Georgia House leadership for the opportunity to participate in GOPAC's 2026 Class of Emerging Leaders," said Rep. Hong. "Following my recent appointment as vice chair of the House Majority Caucus, I'm honored by the continued support of my colleagues and mentors as I serve the people of House District 103 and the state of Georgia. I look forward to collaborating with fellow lawmakers from across the country, sharing ideas and advancing policies that strengthen our state and our nation. This program provides an invaluable opportunity to further develop leadership skills and ensure our work under the Gold Dome is guided by responsible governance and sound policy."
This program is a year-long initiative and seeks to educate talented, rising Republican legislators. The program's goal is to equip these legislators with information to help them legislate more effectively and ultimately achieve leadership roles within their state.

Representative Soo Hong represents the citizens of District 103, which includes portions of Gwinnett and Hall counties. She was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2022 and currently serves as vice chair of the House Majority Caucus and vice chair of the Reapportionment & Redistricting Committee, as well as secretary of the Judiciary Non-Civil Committee. She also serves on the Judiciary and Ways & Means committees.
