One Board of Trustee position of the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District for a 6-year term will be voted upon at the Consolidated Election on April 6, 2027. Candidate petition packets will be available for the position of Trustee during regular office hours beginning Monday, August 24, 2026, from the District office located at 1020 West Algonquin Road, Lake in the Hills. Candidates must be a registered voter, and must be a resident of the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District. Candidates, or a candidate's designee, may begin circulating petitions on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Completed candidate packets are filed between Monday, November 16, 2026 and Monday, November 23, 2026 at the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District office.
