SIGNIFICANT INCIDENTS

ROBBERY: On 12/17/2024 at 04:35 AM, the victim was sleeping near the 500 block of W Tennyson when two adult male subjects approached and took property from the victim. The subjects were later located by officers and arrested for the incident. (Report #2024-071610)

ROBBERY: On 12/21/2024 at 9:30 PM, the victim was approached by a male subject near the 700 block of City Walk Pl. The subject used force on the victim causing him to drop his belongings. The subject was joined by another adult male who helped him pick up the belongings dropped by the victim during the altercation fled the scene on foot before officer arrival. (Report #2024-072728)

SHOOTING: On 12/21/2024 at 10:22 PM, officers were contacted regarding a shooting victim at Eden Hospital. Officers responded and spoke to the victim who was uncooperative regarding the details of the shooting. Witnesses advised officers of where they believe the shooting took place. A canvas of the scene near the 200 block of Culp Ave was conducted and evidence of the shooting was located. The victim was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries. STABBING: On 12/21/2024 at 5:54 PM, officers responded to the report of a stabbing near the 300 block of Smalley Ave. The adult victims were engaged in an argument when weapons were produced. The subject stabbed the victim with his weapon and stabbed another victim when he tried to intervene in the altercation. The suspect fled the scene and both victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. (Report #2024-071548)
