Business Insider wins 2026 Webby for mid-form documentary

Business Insider has won a Webby Award in the Documentary: Mid-Form category at the 2026 Webby Awards for The Man Who Feeds Gaza's Children.

Established in 1996, the Webby Awards recognize the best of the internet. This year, the Webby Awards received more than 13,000 entries from over 70 countries, with fewer than 17% named nominees.

Produced by Senior Managing Producer Reem Makhoul, the Emmy-winning and James Beard Award nominated film, tells the story of one man, Hamada Shaqoura, working to feed children and displaced people in Gaza, offering a ground-level look at the realities of war and survival.

"This award reflects a huge team effort and a shared commitment to telling stories with care, depth and respect for the people at the heart of them," says Reem.
