Final Traffic Pattern Changes as University and Pioneer Parkway Nears Completion

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 20, traffic patterns will shift on N. University Street at the intersection of W. Pioneer Parkway.

Traffic Configuration Changes

• Both northbound and southbound N. University Street traffic will shift into both northbound lanes south of the Pioneer Parkway intersection.

• Right turns onto southbound N. University Street from westbound W. Pioneer Parkway will not be permitted.

Following Monday's traffic shift, several traffic pattern changes are scheduled to occur on Tuesday and Wednesday as lane striping work begins, weather permitting. The striping work is part of the final stages of the University Street and Pioneer Parkway Intersection Reconstruction Project.

Drivers should be mindful of the work and watch for all signage indicating striping work. Drivers should not pass the striping crews and leave ample space between their vehicle and the striping equipment.

The use of alternative routes is strongly advised. Please use extra caution in the area.
