BRMC, OGH Offer Free Festive Christmas Meals to Patients and Guests
Food & Nutrition Staff; Cindy Karroach, Jesse Totten, Lucas Barta and Kathy Sands, will be spreading holiday cheer by offering free meals to patients at OGH on Christmas.
BRADFORD, PA/OLEAN, NY - Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) and Olean General Hospital, Kaleida Health facilities, will bring some Christmas cheer to patients who will not be home with their families for the Christmas holiday.
Patients at BRMC, OGH and residents at The Pavilion are being offered a festive holiday meal. In addition to their own meal, patients also received a complimentary meal for an invited guest to dine with them on Christmas Day.
"At this time of year, being away from home and loved ones can feel especially difficult," said Julie Becker, general manager, food and nutrition services. "While we can't replace the warmth of home, our team is dedicated to filling the hospital with holiday cheer and making this season a little brighter for our patients and their families. We hope this simple gesture brings comfort, joy and a touch of holiday magic to those who need it most."
The Christmas Day meal will consist of a beef entrée, potato option, vegetable, grain and dessert with accommodations made for any additional dietary requirements of each patient.
