Broome County Highway Work Planned for Week of 5/4

(BROOME COUNTY, NY) - The following work is scheduled on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, May 4^th.

• Cleaning ditches on Twist Run Road, Nanticoke Drive, Ballyhack Road & Oquaga Lake Road
• Rebuilding shoulders on Hale Eddy Road & River Road
• Culvert work on Center Village Loop Road
• Hand patching on Smith Hill Road, Lewis Road & Conklin area
• Road sweeping crews will be in the Endwell, Endicott & Vestal areas

Motorists are reminded to use caution in work zones, even when they are not active as some may be modified as constructions progress. Slowing down is always the most effective way to keep yourself and workers safe. You may also want to give yourself extra time during commutes to accommodate for any detours or change in traffic patterns.
