Santa Rosa County holds Waste Tire Amnesty Days at the Central Landfill and Jay Transfer Station

The Santa Rosa County Environmental Department is partnering with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to hold a series of Waste Tire Amnesty Days at the Central Landfill and the Jay Transfer Station.

Waste Tire Amnesty Days will be held at the Central Landfill, 6337 Da Lisa Road in Milton, from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025
  • Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025
  • Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026

Waste Tire Amnesty Days will be held at the Jay Transfer Station , 3786 Transfer Station Road in Jay, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026
  • Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026
  • Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026

A maximum of 10 tires per vehicle will be accepted, free of charge, with a photo ID as proof of Santa Rosa County residency. Only regular car or truck tires, no racing or tractor tires, will be accepted. Tires from commercial shops and vendors will not be accepted. Residents can drop off tires during regular operating hours.
