Prateek Kuhad Shares Stunning Reflections On Love, Loss And Self-Discovery With New Song “If I Cannot Be Yours”
14-Song Collection 'Full Moon Chamber' Arrives July 10 On Atlantic Records
Prateek Kuhad will return next month with 'Full Moon Chamber,' a collection which highlights "India's most popular singer-songwriter" (GQ) and his gift for "eliciting incredible empathy" (New York Magazine). Today, he shares "If I Cannot Be Yours" from the new album (out July 10 via Atlantic Records), a swirling collection of synths, guitars and percussion coupled with profound introspection. Joined on the song by collaborators Nick Ruth (Carly Rae Jepsen, Zara Larsson), Mike Irish (Serpentwithfeet, Masego) and Aaron Sterling (Harry Styles, Lana Del Rey) - Kuhad shares that: "to a certain extent, it's about losing your identity. You want out from a relationship, but you fear that without it, you're going to find it hard to even be."

Kuhad previously shared "Blush " from the collection - a song about "the heady feeling of infatuation that comes with meeting somebody and falling for them hard" - which currently has over 800,000 views on YouTube. It's the continuation of a musical journey that started while Kuhad was studying at NYU - completely taken by the folk music he was discovering ("I only listened to Elliott Smith for like a whole year,"he recently told Track Star).
