Fire crews responding to fire on Guilford Street, Lower West Side
Update (2 pm): Smoke conditions have improved significantly. Crews remain on scene, with roads in the block around Guilford Street closed to through traffic. Thank you for your support and cooperation!
Fire crews are on site at a fire on Guilford Street on the Lower West Side. Please avoid the area.
Residents in the area are advised to keep doors and windows closed as much as possible to avoid any possible smoke exposure.
We will update this post if more details need to be shared. A big thank you to our firefighters and emergency responders on the scene.
