From major corridors to neighborhood streets, the #RanchoCordovaPublicWorks team is hard at work upgrading roads across the city. Here's a look at the work happening around Rancho Cordova.
Mather Field Road Phase One
Soon, the City of Rancho Cordova will be improving aesthetics along the east side of Mather Field Road north of westbound US 50 off-ramp. Project improvements will include upgrading the aesthetic wall treatment, widening sidewalks, landscape improvements, and a pergola entry wall feature at Croydon Drive. Project construction will begin in Spring 2026 and is anticipated to be completed in Summer 2026.
Countryside Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation Phase Two
The city also plans to rehabilitate streets within the Countryside neighborhood to extend the life of the pavement, improve rideability and repair the current infrastructure. Project enhancements will include resurfaced roadways, updated drainage infrastructure and high-visibility markings on the roadway. This project is funded by the city's Community Enhancement & Investment Fund and State Senate Bill 1 (SB1) Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. Construction is currently underway and will be completed in Summer 2026.
Lincoln Village Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation
In the Lincoln Village neighborhood, improvements will be made including resurfaced roadways, upgraded drainage infrastructure, high-visibility pavement markings, and upgraded curb ramps to meet current accessibility standards. Design is currently underway and is anticipated to be completed in 2027.
