NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association today announced the election of a new Group Health Program (GHP) Trust Committee chair. Kristi Westbrock, CEO of CTC (Brainerd, Minn.), now serves as chair, replacing Toney Prather, president of Totelcom (De Leon, Texas). Prather had served as chair since 2006 and has been a member of the committee since 1991.
Westbrock has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has been with CTC since 2007. She has served on the GHP Trust Committee since 2016, having previously served as the vice chair.
The NTCA Group Health Program (GHP) is a comprehensive benefits solution designed specifically for rural broadband providers. Backed by nearly 70 years of experience, GHP offers high-quality, flexible health, life and disability benefits to support the employees and families of more than 500 NTCA members.
"I want to congratulate Kristi on her new leadership role and thank Toney for his longstanding service on the GHP Trust Committee," said NTCA CEO Shirley Bloomfield. "For 35 years, Toney has played a crucial role in shaping a benefits program that truly serves our members, ensuring they receive the highest quality of benefits in the business. His leadership set a high bar, and I am confident that Kristi, with her dedication to innovation and forward-thinking leadership, will excel."
