TRAFFIC ALERT Kent County Closure of Pearsons Corner Road between Rt. 8 and West Dennys Road
Closure of Pearsons Corner Road between Rt. 8 and West Dennys Road
Dover - ; The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the closure of Pearsons Corner Road between Rt. 8 and West Dennys Road on Tuesday, April 29th and Wednesday, April 30th for paving operations at the intersection of Pearsons Corner Road and West Dennys Road. Lane closures will continue along Pearsons Corner Road through May 19th for the remaining paving.
Detour - Northbound Motorists To W. Dennys Rd.: Turn right onto SR-8 Forrest Ave., then turn left onto Sharon Hill Rd. arriving at W. Dennys Rd To Pearsons Corner Rd.: Continue from W. Dennys Rd., turn right onto Dinahs Corner Rd. arriving at Pearsons Corner Rd. To Lockwood Chapel Rd.: Turn left onto SR-8 Halltown Rd. then turn right onto SR-44 Hartly Rd., then turn right onto Judith Rd., arriving at Lockwood Chapel Rd.
Eastbound Motorists: To South Pearsons Corner Rd.: Turn right onto Judith Rd. then turn left onto SR - 8 Halltown Rd., arriving at Pearsons Corner Rd. To North Pearsons Corner Rd.: Turn left onto Judith Rd., then turn right onto Dinahs Corner Rd., arriving at Pearsons Corner Rd. To W. Dennys Rd: Continue from Pearsons Corner Rd. on Dinahs Corner Rd. , arriving at W. Dennys Rd.
Southbound Motorists: To Lockwood Chapel Rd.: Turn right onto Dinahs Corner Rd., then turn left onto Judith Rd., arriving at Lockwood Chapel Rd. To W. Dennys Rd.: Turn left onto Dinahs Corner Rd., arriving at W. Dennys Rd. To Pearsons Corner Rd.: Continue from W. Dennys Rd. and turn right onto Sharon Hill Rd., then turn right onto Chesnut Grove Rd., then turn right onto SR-8 Forrest Ave., arriving at Pearsons Corner Rd.
Westbound Motorists: To south Pearsons Corner Rd.: Turn left onto Sharon Hill Rd. then turn right onto Chesnut Grove Rd. , then turn right onto Forrest Ave. SR-8, arriving at Pearsons Corner Rd. To north Pearsons Corner Rd.: Turn right onto Dinahs Corner Rd.,arriving at Pearsons Corner Rd. To Lockwood Chapel Rd. : Continue from Pearsons Corner Rd. on Dinahs Corner Rd., then turn left onto Judith Rd., arriving at Lockwood Chapel Rd.
