20 May 2026On 20 May 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sekreta, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Zhang Wenchuan.
The parties discussed cooperation between the two countries within a number of international organisations, including the International Labour Organisation, noting their unwavering mutual support on sensitive issues on the multilateral agenda and their firm commitment to an all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership.
The Belarusian side expressed its gratitude for the consistent solidarity position upheld by the Chinese side on international platforms.
