Cathedral City Voters Encouraged to Cast Ballots in the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election

Tuesday, June 2, 2026, is Election Day for the Statewide Direct Primary Election. Cathedral City residents are encouraged to make their voices heard before polls close tonight. Three vote centers are open right here in the city, including City Hall in Downtown Cathedral City.

Where to Vote in Cathedral City

  • City Hall - Study Session Room 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234
  • Cathedral City Library - Community Room 33520 Date Palm Drive, Cathedral City, CA 92234
  • Northgate Community Church - Kids Town Center 30010 Date Palm Drive, Cathedral City, CA 92234

All three locations are open today from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ballots must be dropped off or cast by 8 p.m. tonight to be counted.

In addition to in-person voting, City Hall and the Cathedral City Library both serve as official ballot drop-off locations. If you've already completed your vote-by-mail ballot, you can securely drop it off at either site.

Voters are not assigned to a specific location and may cast a ballot at any open vote center in Riverside County. To find the nearest vote center, visit the Registrar of Voters website at voteinfo.net or call the Registrar of Voters Office at (951) 486-7200.

Countywide Voting Options

Cathedral City's vote centers are among 152 locations open across Riverside County today. The county offers several ways to cast a ballot, including in-person voting at vote centers and returning a completed vote-by-mail ballot to an official drop box or vote center. If you still have a vote-by-mail ballot, drop it off in person today rather than mailing it, since it must be received by 8 p.m. tonight.

"We support all registered voters to make their voices count by casting their ballots in the upcoming election," said Art Tinoco, Registrar of Voters for Riverside County.

"We are committed to providing accessible and secure voting options for all voters," Tinoco added. "Whether you choose to vote-by-mail, vote early, or vote in person on Election Day, your participation in the electoral process is crucial. 'Your Voice, Every Vote, Our Future.'"

Know Before You Go

Registered voters are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the candidates and ballot measures before heading to the polls. Detailed information can be found in both the State Voter Information Guide and the County Voter Information Guide, which have been distributed to all registered voters by mail and are also accessible at voteinfo.net.
