Rep. Carl Gilliard to Host Eighth Annual Georgia International Conference on Trade and Commerce in Savannah

ATLANTA - State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Savannah) will host the eighth annual Georgia International Conference on Trade and Commerce on Monday, November 17, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia.

"This conference serves as a bridge connecting Georgia to the global marketplace," said Rep. Gilliard. "Each year, we bring together leaders from around the world to showcase the economic opportunities that make Georgia a leading destination for international trade and investment. I'm proud to host this event in Savannah, where so much of our state's commerce begins."

The conference agenda will include tours of the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), featuring remarks from GPA executives, as well as a visit to Gulfstream Aerospace. Attendees will also meet with representatives from the World Trade Center Savannah and the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA). The conference will conclude with an international evening reception.

Representative Carl Gilliard represents the citizens of District 162, which includes a portion of Chatham County.
