Regatta Site in New Bight Comes Alive as Residents and Visitors Gather for the Goombay Summer Festival

NEW BIGHT, CAT ISLAND, The Bahamas -- The Regatta Site in New Bight came alive with vibrant colours, authentic Bahamian flavours and electrifying entertainment as residents and visitors gathered for the Goombay Summer Festival in Cat Island. From the rhythmic sounds of The Rooters Rake & Scrape Band and Da Jam Band to exciting performances by Stillett and Geno D, complemented by captivating Goombay and Fire Dancers, the event was a true celebration of Bahamian culture and music.

The Ministry of Tourism's delegation was led by Director of Family Islands Development, Bernadette Bastian, as the festival brought together the very best of Cat Island's culture, cuisine and entertainment.
