Stanislaus County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 and State Routes 4 (SR-4), SR-99, SR-108, and SR-132 for maintenance and construction work within Stanislaus County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 4
• Overnight, intermittent one-way traffic control from the San Joaquin/Stanislaus County line to Hoods Creek for guardrail work beginning Sunday, May 31, through Friday, June 5, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. o The above closure is required as part of the SR-4 Farmington Highway Improvement Project.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
