Sign Replacement Project began this week for Interstate 85's Mileposts 2, 13 and 17

LAGRANGE, Georgia -GDOT contractors began replacing signs at I-85 at Mileposts 2,13 ad 17 this week and will continue through January 14, 2026. This will occur on the northbound from Mileposts 2.13 and 17. The public may experience traffic interruptions from 8 am - 4 pm. A single lane will be closed during this time.
The nearest Exits are south of the Georgia Welcome Center.
  • Exits 13 and 14, which is State Route 219
  • Exit 17 north of Exit 18, which is SR 109
Single lane closures will occur daily, between 8 a.m. -4 p.m.

Advisory: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
