Stanislaus County Pelletized Rubber Finalized Report

CalRecycle partnered with Stanislaus County to pilot pelletized rubber additives (SmartMIX and PelletPAVE-TR), comparing them with conventional Hot Mix Asphalt to evaluate production, placement, and performance. Constructed in October-November 2024, all sections met specifications; a one-year survey found no distress. Findings will inform cost-effective rubberized asphalt options for local agencies, with ongoing monitoring planned.
