EisnerAmper’s Aaron LaHood Named a 2026 Emerging Leader by the IIA

EisnerAmper, a leading global business advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Aaron LaHood has been named a 2026 Emerging Leader by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

The IIA annually honors those audit professionals who drive innovation, technology integration, and risk management. Judges also evaluate candidates on business acumen, leadership, innovative thinking, collaboration, and professional and community service. Nominees must be IIA members, hold or be actively working toward the Certified Internal Auditor designation, and be age 30 or younger.

Based in EisnerAmper's Baton Rouge, LA, office, Aaron is an internal audit advisory manager with more than eight years of experience. In addition to client work, he trains interns, including taking them to onsite engagements, as well as develops an intern curriculum.

"This year's Emerging Leaders … all share a demonstrated ability to earn trust-from stakeholders, from management, and from their teams-and a track record of pushing internal audit toward greater relevance and impact within their organizations," said the IIA.

"Aaron really cares about clients, staff, and people in general," said Partner-in-Charge of EisnerAmper's Gulf Coast Region, Laura Soileau. "I can't think of a better addition to this prestigious list. All of us at the firm congratulate Aaron on this accolade. He has a bright future ahead of him."
