PHILADELPHIA, PA - Today, Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02) presented an $850,000 check to Holy Family University to help fund its new First-Generation Success and Innovation Hub. The funding, which Congressman Boyle helped secure, will provide essential resources such as academic mentoring, career guidance, and financial literacy support to the nearly 40 percent of Holy Family students who are the first in their families to attend college.

"As a first-generation college graduate, I know how challenging it can be to navigate higher education without a roadmap," said Congressman Boyle. "This funding will help create a hub where students can access the resources and community, they need to not only succeed academically but also build the confidence and skills to thrive in their careers and lives. It's an investment in their future and in the strength of our community."
