Merry Christmas to You and Your Family!

As 2025 draws to a close and we look ahead to the new year, I would like to wish you and your loved ones a holiday season filled with the blessings of health, happiness, and joyful celebrations.

A quick legislative update:

I have worked on legislation to stand up for our seniors, support our farmers, protect ALL life, lower your taxes, and root out corruption. I was proud of the work that my Republican colleagues and I did to stop nonsense that Chicago liberals were trying to pass, such as a ban of Styrofoam takeout containers, a tax on all deliveries, and even legalizing prostitution.

Next year, I plan to keep up the fight to advance legislation to "Void the FOID" card (HB1067), protect female athletes in school sports (HB1117), and repeal the heinous TRUST Act to crack down on illegal immigration (HB1317). I've also proposed bills to lower property taxes for seniors (HB1563), end the estate tax (HB 2865), and not tax retirement income (HR112).

Ending Illinois' Energy Crisis

We have the resources we need right under our feet to provide our citizens with clean, cheap, reliable, and efficient energy. It's costing far too much to heat our homes this winter, and we knew this was coming. Springfield's insane policies have us choking off our own supply of energy and buying electricity from neighboring states, who are burning coal at their power plants. It's time to repeal Illinois' ridiculous policies that cut off our energy supply and turn the lights back on at our coal plants. That's why I sponsored legislation to repeal CEJA and create a Power Grid Task Force to study an all-of-the-above energy approach (HB 4087, HB4088).
