Each year, Cobb County reviews and updates its codes to ensure they remain effective, clear, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Over time, state laws, best practices, and community needs evolve, and the code must be updated to reflect these changes. Regular revisions help prevent outdated or conflicting rules, ensuring the code continues to serve both residents and businesses fairly.
This process also ensures that Cobb County remains aligned with state standards and requirements. By consistently adopting necessary updates, the County ensures consistency with Georgia's laws, avoids potential conflicts, and maintains strong, reliable regulations that support safety, growth, and the quality of life in the community.
Code Amendments will be presented at the Work Session on October 28 at 1:30 p.m.
