Chartis welcomes Senior Partner Mick Coady

Chartis, a leading healthcare advisory firm, today announced Mick Coady has joined the firm as a Digital & Technology Transformation Senior Partner. He has more than two decades of experience in healthcare information technology, specifically cybersecurity and enterprise resiliency.

Coady specializes in leading multi-year projects that reduce risk, accelerate compliance, and demonstrate value. He focuses on helping healthcare IT executives implement and optimize technology strategies to build the business case for microsegmentation.

"He has significant experience leading large complex engagements that build sustainability and value, enabling client organizations to improve the delivery of care."

Prior to Chartis, Coady was the Chief Technology Officer at Elisity and Armis, and he spent ten years as a partner in PwC's Health Information Privacy & Security practice.

Beyond client work, Coady contributed to the HITRUST Alliance leadership team, helping develop the control objectives for the HITRUST Common Security Framework. He is a frequent national speaker on cybersecurity, privacy, healthcare security, and regulatory compliance topics.

Coady holds numerous industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Technology Forensics Investigator, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Certified Novell Engineer, and the ITIL Foundation.

Coady earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology/Professional Pilot with a minor in Business Management from the University of Central Missouri (formerly Central Missouri State University). He also holds an associate's degree with merit in Computer and Business Studies from Dublin Business School.
