The annual AAMC Faculty Salary Report displays total compensation statistics for full-time medical school faculty broken out by degree, rank, department/specialty, medical school type, region, gender, and race/ethnicity. Total compensation is the sum of fixed/contractual salary, medical practice supplement, and bonus/incentive pay.
The AAMC Faculty Salary Survey fields annually in the fall of each calendar year. The AAMC Faculty Salary Report is typically released in January of each year.
The online report is available for purchase through the AAMC Store with discounted pricing for faculty and staff at member institutions, as well as medical residents and fellows. The AAMC Store purchase provides the user with an annual subscription to the online report website.
