Graphic Packaging Wins QSR/FPI Foodservice Packaging Award 2025

Graphic Packaging International (Graphic Packaging) is celebrating recognition at the 2025 QSR/FPI Foodservice Packaging Awards, where its 2-cell drink insert, developed for international food chain American Dairy Queen Corporation, took home the "Innovation in Convenience" award.

The awards, hosted by QSR Magazine, honor excellence in foodservice packaging and highlight breakthroughs that improve areas of sustainability, efficiency, and consumer experience.

Created to streamline packing and delivery for one of the world's most iconic foodservice brands, the 2-cell drink insert fits directly into the operator's existing paper bags, securely holding a wide range of cup sizes to ensure stability during transportation.

The design helps prevent tipping and spills and enables delivery staff to carry multiple orders in one hand - reducing touchpoints and improving order handling. With the drinks securely held inside, a tamper-evident sticker can be applied to the bag to provide reassurance that beverages remain untouched from store to doorstep.

Made from third-party-certified paperboard, the insert supports circularity goals by being curbside recyclable. Unlike traditional drink inserts, the format ships flat to optimize space efficiency and arrives pre-glued for quick assembly and easy handling during busy service periods.
