2020-2024 American Community Survey 5-year Data Released

January 29, 2026. The U.S. Census Bureau Released the 2020-2024 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year. The Census Bureau's press release can be viewed at https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2026/acs-5-year-gains-educational-attainment.html. The 2024 ACS 5-year estimates are available on data.census.gov, which is the census Bureau's platform to access data and digital content.

Included in this release are several new tables for the White and Black or African American populations. These new tables contain data for detailed White and Black or African American groups for the respective alone or in any combination race group categories. More information on the new tables can be found at https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/acs/technical-documentation/table-and-geography-changes/2024/5-year.html.
