HARRISBURG - Rep. Craig Staats (R-Bucks) has officially begun his service for the 2025-26 Legislative Session following his swearing-in on Jan. 7. Staats is pleased to announce his appointment as the Republican chairman of the newly created House Intergovernmental Affairs and Operations Committee, a critical position focused on improving communication and collaboration across Pennsylvania's various levels of government.
"This appointment allows me to work on issues that directly impact the effectiveness of our government systems," said Staats. "I'm honored to lead this committee as we strengthen partnerships, increase efficiency and tackle key challenges that affect communities across the Commonwealth."
