Hometown: Crofton, Md.

Major: Sustainable Construction Management

Why did you choose to attend Frostburg State University?

I was originally recruited to play football at FSU, but when I took my visit, I felt at home and knew I would love my time here. I absolutely have!

What extracurricular activities were you involved in?

I play on the football team, I serve as the President of our Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and I'm a member of the President's Leadership Circle this year.

What is your favorite memory as a student?

My favorite memory has to be sharing Thanksgiving dinner with my teammates during our playoff run this past year.

Which faculty and/or staff member has influenced you as a student?

Nicole Lewis M'20 (Assistant Athletic Director for Engagement) and Dr. Thomas Cadenazzi (Sustainable Construction Management professor) have been nothing but incredible. They have both helped me so much and always instill confidence in me no matter what.

What advice would you give to a student currently studying your major?

My piece of advice would be to be invested in the material and always be willing to learn more!

Tell us about a class or activity at FSU that has had a surprising effect on your life.

I think joining SAAC really changed my time at Frostburg for the better. I had no idea what I was getting into at the start (I was told to join by a teammate my freshman year), but I quickly fell in love.

What is a cause dear to your heart?

I'm very invested in the idea of a green planet and a sustainable future. In my time at Frostburg, I've learned so much about our current global climate and sustainable practices that can be applied to help our future generations succeed.

What do you do for fun?

For fun I like to play some video games, watch a show or movie, or do some yoga to clear my mind and feel fresh.

What three words can you use to describe FSU?

Welcoming, Fun, Family
