Do you have solid experience with crafting social media messages across various platforms to raise visibility and grow online communities? Do you understand the Danish media and political landscape so that you can increase organizational visibility through active press work? Are you eager to support the rights of some of the most marginalised peoples in the world?
If yes, perhaps you are our new Social Media and Danish Press Advisor.
IWGIA has ambitious goals to increase and diversify our online profile. As part of this, we want to increase our support to Indigenous Peoples' rights, the visibility of ourselves and our partners, grow our visibility in Denmark, and develop strategies for individual fundraising. As Social Media and Danish Press Advisor, you are key to making this happen by developing and implementing engagement strategies that will help us reach these goals.
Your tasks as Social Media and Danish Press Advisor are to:

A position in a global human rights organisation dedicated to promoting and defending Indigenous Peoples' rights, where you get the opportunity to influence development and put your professional and personal skills into play. You get committed colleagues with whom you can spar in a good working and engaging environment where we help each other. Finally, you can help make a difference for some of the world's most marginalised peoples.
You will report directly to IWGIA's Executive Director. You will be a member of the Engagement and Documentation team and work closely with the Documentation and Communication Manager and Danish Engagement Advisor in particular. You will also collaborate well with advisors and the Executive Director on press and communication.
We can offer a 30-hour per week position, which includes ½ an hour for lunch. IWGIA follows the state's salary levels.
We can offer a 2-year employment contract with the possibility of extension.
Work location will be at Prinsessegade 29 B, 3rd floor, 1422 Copenhagen. IWGIA does not cover the cost to relocate.
