Congressman Flood’s Statement on Former Sen. Ben Sasse’s Cancer Diagnosis
LINCOLN, NEBRASKA - Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement following news of former U.S. Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) announcing his diagnosis of metastasized, stage-four pancreatic cancer.

Former Senator Ben Sasse represented the State of Nebraska in Washington from 2015-2023 as well as served as the 13th President of the University of Florida. Former Senator Sasse's announcement of his diagnosis can be read here.
