Tecnikabel – 2025 Sustainability Report

We believe that sustainability is a journey made up of objectives, measurement, operational choices and new responsibilities, and it is with this approach that the Tecnikabel Group's 2025 Sustainability Report has been developed.

It is a document that charts the evolution of our ESG commitment and captures the progress made over the course of the year on the environmental, social and governance fronts.

This is a path closely interwoven with our way of doing business: innovating, designing reliable solutions and taking a long-term view, while progressively integrating sustainability into corporate decision-making.

Environment

In 2025, we strengthened our approach to energy management by achieving ISO 50001 certification for the Tecnikabel sites in Almese and Volpiano, an international standard that recognises the adoption of a structured system for monitoring and improving energy performance.

The same principle - measuring in order to improve - guided another important step: for the first time, we carried out a structured analysis of Scope 3 emissions, extending carbon footprint monitoring to the indirect impacts generated along the value chain. The emissions recorded amount to a total of 51,303 tCO₂eq, providing a more complete information base on which to build future reduction actions.

Alongside this, the PRS Green Label recognition relates to the circular management of wooden pallets, highlighting an aspect of the industrial process that may seem secondary but is significant within a model geared towards more responsible resource use. This theme is already part of the ESG journey that Tecnikabel shares in its own news updates.

People

In 2025, the number of employees at Tecnikabel S.p.A. and HTC S.r.l. grew by 7% compared with the previous year. At the same time, investment in training increased significantly: total training hours delivered rose from 1,143 in 2023 to 4,204 in 2025, a growth of 267.8%.

This investment covered both technical and transversal skills, with dedicated programmes including, among others, leadership, empowerment, digital tools, English language and management development.

A significant milestone was also reached on the diversity front: female representation in Middle Management reached 19% in 2025, surpassing the previously set target of 15%.

These figures reflect a principle we consider essential: technological innovation needs people who are well-prepared, engaged and given the conditions to grow alongside the company.

Governance

In 2025, we also strengthened our tools dedicated to governance and transparency.

Tecnikabel S.p.A. has adopted the Organisation, Management and Control Model pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001, alongside tools already part of the corporate system and new reference documents such as the Code of Conduct and the Code of Ethics.

The aim is to translate principles such as integrity, accountability and transparency into procedures, control tools and concrete behaviours, strengthening over time the organisation's ability to prevent risk and manage its activities according to increasingly structured standards.

A journey that continues

The 2025 Sustainability Report serves, above all, to understand where we stand, what impact we generate and which priorities should guide our next steps, in pursuit of our main objective: building an industrial model capable of combining performance, innovation and responsibility.
