Pick Tennessee Products Experience Returns to Wilson County - Tennessee State Fair with Interactive Agricultural Exhibits, Local Products

NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Department of Agriculture invites fairgoers to celebrate Tennessee agriculture at the 2026 Wilson County - Tennessee State Fair by visiting the Pick Tennessee Products Experience, returning Aug. 13-22 with expanded exhibits, hands-on educational opportunities and more than 140 Tennessee producers under one roof.

The Pick Tennessee Products Experience gives visitors the opportunity to shop for Tennessee-made food products, specialty items, gifts, and agricultural goods while learning more about the farmers, food businesses, artisans and entrepreneurs who make them.

New this year is the "Fields & Forests Village," an interactive commodity exhibit designed especially for children. The walk-through educational space will feature hands-on displays along with engaging exhibits that teach how Tennessee commodities and forest products play an important role in everyday life.

The exhibit also highlights Tennessee forestry as the state's 2026 Commodity of the Year. Inside the Pick Tennessee Products store, visitors will find a special selection of Tennessee wood products alongside locally produced foods, specialty items and handcrafted gifts from producers across the Volunteer State.

"The Pick Tennessee Products Experience showcases the innovation and craftsmanship of the people who grow, raise and make products right here in Tennessee," Agriculture Commissioner Andy Holt said. "Whether you're purchasing a locally made product, discovering a new favorite food or introducing your children to Tennessee agriculture through our interactive exhibits, every visit supports our farmers, rural communities and agricultural economy."

In addition to shopping, visitors can enjoy product samples, cooking demonstrations and educational presentations throughout the fair from Tennessee producers and agricultural partners. Popular agritourism spots have also been reimagined as interactive digital displays, making it easier than ever for fairgoers to discover local farms, markets and agricultural destinations across the state.

"As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, we're also celebrating the generations of Tennessee producers whose hard work continues to feed families, fuel local economies and preserve our agricultural heritage," Pick Tennessee Products Director Sarah Botwinick said. "More than 140 Tennessee producers are participating in this year's Pick Tennessee Products Experience, giving fairgoers the chance to discover incredible Tennessee-made products while supporting the farmers, food businesses and entrepreneurs behind them."
