New Grocers Expand Regency’s Portfolio With Two Southern California Openings in 30 Days

In the past month, Regency has introduced two much-anticipated grocery store openings in Southern California, adding fresh food options and innovative shopping experiences to local communities.

On October 11, Sprouts Farmers Market launched at Circle Marina Center in Long Beach, drawing over 400 eager customers lined up as early as 7 a.m. to welcome the arrival of fresh, organic, and locally sourced foods. Just weeks later, Amazon Fresh opened its doors at Twin Peaks in Poway on November 7, bringing high-tech features like the Dash Cart to elevate the grocery shopping experience.

Sprouts Farmers Market (Long Beach, CA)

The opening of Sprouts Farmers Market at the newly redeveloped Circle Marina Center was met with an exceptional community response, underscoring the area's excitement for fresh, organic, and locally sourced foods. Known for its advanced technology features, Amazon Fresh offers a seamless shopping experience with options like the Dash Cart, which allows customers to skip the checkout line and pay directly through the cart. This cutting-edge grocery model combines the convenience of online shopping with the in-person experience of browsing fresh produce, pantry staples, and ready-made meals.

This new addition marks the first Amazon Fresh store in San Diego County. To celebrate, Regency donated $2,500 to Feeding San Diego to aid hunger relief initiatives in Poway. The enthusiastic turnout at the grand opening highlights how Amazon Fresh is already enriching the area, bringing a modern, customer-friendly approach to grocery shopping that meets the evolving needs of today's consumers.
