NATCA Charitable Foundation Looks to Build on Successful 2025

The NATCA Charitable Foundation (NCF) is looking forward to a strong 2026 following a successful 2025 campaign. The NCF's mission is to give back through different programs that strengthen communities where we live and work. In 2025, NFC helped support 123 charities, across 38 states, plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

Some of the programs NCF helped support included:

  • The Family Assistance Program: This program helps charities support families facing tough times with the resources they need to get back on their feet.
  • The Food Bank Program: This program helps fight hunger by providing access to nutritious meals for individuals and families in need.
  • The Backpack Program: This yearly program gives students a strong start to the school year by providing backpacks filled with essential school supplies, helping them feel confident and ready to learn.
  • The Holiday Program: Each holiday season this initiative spreads cheer by delivering food, gifts, and support to families who could use a little extra help.
  • The Sponsored Activities Program: This drive allows NCF to support NATCA members participating in walks, runs, plane pulls, and other activities that support their favorite charities.

In addition to the core programs, NCF also supports charities that hold special significance to our members. Each request undergoes a thorough vetting process to ensure the organization aligns with our mission and demonstrates strong fiscal responsibility.

NCF also brings people together through Step Challenge fundraising efforts, where select individuals and teams designate charities to receive donations. In addition, during NATCA Biennial Conventions, charities in the host area are selected to receive funds raised throughout the convention, extending our impact into the broader community.

Together, these programs reflect what our Foundation is all about - caring for families, lifting each other up, and building stronger communities.
