State Route 4 - Connector Ramp, Ramp & Lane Closures

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4)/Crosstown Freeway for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

State Route 4

  • Full connector ramp closure from eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway to northbound SR-99 for drainage work beginning Monday, September 23, through Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Long-term, one-way traffic control from Roberts Island Road to Cordes Ranch Road for Garwood (San Joaquin River) Bridge repairs beginning Monday, July 22, through September 30, 2024. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures at Center Street, El Dorado Street, Stanislaus Street, Wilson Way and Filbert Street for K-rail installation and bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (eastbound) and 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (westbound.)
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures from Interstate 5 to SR-99 for k-rail installation beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (westbound.)
  • One-way traffic control from Walker Lane to Duck Creek bridge for tree work on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Mathews Road To County Line

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

Interstate 5

  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Mathews Road to northbound I-5 for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from southbound I-5 at Mathews Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from northbound I-5 at Downing Avenue for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Downing Avenue to southbound I-5 for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Full on-ramp closure from Alpine Avenue to northbound I-5 for drainage work on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full connector ramp closures from northbound SR-99 to westbound SR-120/Manteca Bypass for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full connector ramp closures from northbound SR-99 to westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for paving operations beginning Monday, September 23, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 120 - Connector Ramp & Lane Closures
Overnight Lane Closures In Manteca

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 120 (SR-120) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full connector ramp closures from eastbound SR-120/Yosemite Avenue to northbound SR-99 for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on SR-120/Manteca Bypass from Yosemite Avenue to Spreckels Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (westbound) and from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound.)

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 132 (SR-132) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Chrisman Road for grinding and paving operations beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (westbound.)
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures from I-580 to Bird Road for grinding and paving operations beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (westbound.)

Interstate 205 - Ramp & Lane Closures
Closures For Pavement Work

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 205 (I-205) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight closure of the #3 (right) lane of eastbound I-205 from Byron Road to Grant Line Road for grinding and paving operations beginning Sunday, September 22, through Monday, September 23, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight closure of the Grant Line Road off-ramp from eastbound I-205 for grinding and paving operations beginning Sunday, September 22, through Monday, September 23, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Closure of the #1 (left) lane of eastbound I-205 from Paradise Road to I-5 for grinding and paving operations beginning Tuesday, September 24, through Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Interstate 580 - Ramp Closures
Closures For Pavement Work

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

Interstate 580

  • Overnight closure of the Chrisman Road on-ramp to eastbound I-580 for grinding and paving operations beginning Sunday, September 22, through Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight closure of the Chrisman Road on-ramp to westbound I-580 for grinding and paving operations beginning Sunday, September 22, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
