Notice of Electric Reliability Organization Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that the Railbelt Reliability Council (RRC) filed TE13-9001, seeking approval of reliability standards. The proposed reliability standards establish response requirements for each Balancing Authority's Automatic Generation Control to ensure accurate calculation of Area Control Error, establish transmission system planning performance requirements to develop a Bulk Electric System (BES), and establish a process for developing transmission plans for a BES. The proposed reliability standards include Violation Risk Factor and Violation Severity Level tables which will be used to classify the severity of violations.
This notice does not contain all requested revisions, and the Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from that proposed by the RRC.
